The motto "hands meet face to face" will be an important aspect of the program however, it is evident that there's an increase in optimism and the need to be face-to-face with people. Rotary's changed. As we flow through the summer months in 2021 there's a lingering sense of uncertainty about whether our social service will include the much-valued human connection experienced by Rotary members of the past. Although the phrase "hands-in-space" is undoubtedly part of our daily routine but it's clear that the confidence of our members is increasing and we are able to make more personal relationships. Rotary's changed. Rotary network is a great way to make lasting relationships. While maintaining our online meetings to conduct business, we've re-introduced social interaction and service with a more secure face-to-face format. Our newfound opportunities have combined with our lessons from previous outbreaks to provide a brand perspective to Rotary. It's encouraging to know that 75 percent of Rotary clubs intend to keep their "business regular" routines. During the summer, many Rotary members were out with their families and friends, working on various initiatives, including beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups.
